What is Candy Shorts, and why did a teaser send you here?

A clip freezes on a doorknob turning, the caption reads part one, and the title is nowhere to be seen. If that is how you arrived, welcome: the series does have a name, and we have watched how most of them open. Candy Shorts is the series section inside Candy.ai, the AI companion platform. Every title is a scripted story told in vertical episodes built for a phone, and the catalog listed 159 of them on October 16, 2026.

The size comes as the first surprise. Of the 159 series, 142 run five episodes, and the longest, My Bestie Betrayed Me, goes to 34. The episodes are short: in the 286 free episodes we watched, the final line of dialogue arrives before two minutes are up, with a median of about 63 seconds. You can finish a five-episode series before your bus stop. The CandyShorts player we used offered subtitles in six languages, including English, Italian and Portuguese.

The figures on this page come from our own test of Candy.ai on October 16, 2026, using a free account and Premium. On the free account we watched episodes 1 and 2 of 143 series with the subtitles on, and Premium opened the 14 Spicy series that stay locked otherwise. Two further titles have no subtitle track. New this month on Candy Shorts

Fifteen series wore the New badge on October 16, 2026, and we were able to read the first two episodes of fourteen. The fifteenth is a Spicy series, locked on a free account. At the top of the Candy Shorts grid sits Our Host Is Riley Reid. Episode 1 takes place at a beach-house birthday, with a host who recites her house rules at the door, and it ends on rule four. Riley Reid shows up there as a licensed digital twin and did not perform.

Three more titles show how the batch works. My Stepmom Mia Malkova Needs a Date opens on a canceled dinner and a dress, and the stepson finds out the walls are thin. The Maid of Honor gives the groom a two-hour countdown to the wedding. The Anniversary Massage is a present from a wife who works next door.

Watching them back to back, we noticed the formula. In most of the new series we could read, within two episodes a third person who must not find out is on the phone, in the next room or at the door: a girlfriend upstairs, a mother asking for cookies, a bride who needs her sister to do her hair. The Maid of Honor ends on “Let her wait,” and Mum Got Sick On Our Holiday on “Tell her 10 minutes.” The settings vary, yet the ticking clock never goes away.

Above the Candy Shorts grid, Candy.ai also pins a featured carousel. It held ten series on October 16, headed by My Step-Sister’s Dormitory, in which the Riley Reid digital twin plays the resident adviser who declares that house rules begin here. In second place came YES MA’AM, a New series with 27 episodes, the second longest in the catalog.

How does free viewing work in practice?

A free account can watch the first two episodes of 145 of the 159 series at zero tokens, and Simona Rossi: Wrong But Right adds a third. Beyond the free ones, a paid episode costs 12 tokens in most series, 30 in the creator series and 30 to 50 in the Spicy ones. So a five-episode series at 12 tokens per episode is a 36-token finish, while My Bestie Betrayed Me, with 32 paid episodes, comes to 384 tokens.

The remaining 14 are Spicy, and they are the exception. Their first two episodes cost zero tokens too, yet a free account cannot open them: the lock begins at episode 1, and only Premium lifts it, since the adult scenes start straight away. That lock is the sharpest dividing line between the two halves of the catalog, and the Spicy series also carry the highest token prices.

Think of the free episodes as an audition, and a fair one. Together the two run roughly two minutes, enough to pick up the setup, the tone and whether you care about episode 3, where the paywall starts. Explicitness scores: where the catalog sits

Candy Shorts is adult enough that the age gate is far from a formality. Every series receives a score on a five-level scale, running from tension and innuendo at level 1 to explicit from the start at level 5. No series in the catalog falls below level 3, the Spicy shelf occupies level 5 along with Bonnie Blue is My Stepsister, and the broad middle of the catalog lands on 4.

At level 4, the paid episodes devote a large part of their runtime to explicit scenes. For story first, turn to the level-3 titles. Kiss My Enemy spends episode 1 on a wrestling match that someone paid to rig, and The Man Next Door Knows begins with a new neighbor borrowing sugar, a light bulb and, as he puts it, some dignity.

Did Riley Reid and the other creators really perform?

No. Riley Reid, Mia Malkova, Bonnie Blue, Sophie Dee, Lexi Luna and Asa Akira each appear as a licensed digital twin, and none of them performed in the Candy Shorts series made around them. The scenes are generated, and the twin supplies the name and the likeness. The Candy Creators section accounts for 19 of the 159 series, and in the open ones a paid episode costs 30 tokens rather than 12.

Is Candy Shorts legit, and is it safe?

Legit, judging by the facts we can check. The Terms of Service dated September 22, 2026, name EverAI Limited, a company in Malta, as the operator of Candy.ai, and the charge appears on a card statement as EverAI. All the legal documents are kept in one place on the site, from the privacy notice to the content removal rules, and an 18+ gate guards the entrance. That is what a real business looks like, which says little about whether the stories fit your taste.

For us, safe means two things. The content is generated, and the rules ban deepfakes, intimate images shared without consent and content resembling minors. Then there is the trouble that begins on detours: sites selling “full episodes,” asking for a download or pointing you to a group chat. The full episodes live inside the Candy.ai player. The series pages carry no download link (checked September 24, 2026), and the community rules forbid mirroring the site’s content without written consent. The bottom line: is Candy Shorts worth it?

Candy Shorts earns its place for the first two episodes alone, since they cost no tokens and run about two minutes in total. Paying makes sense when episode 2 leaves you needing episode 3 and the series is short enough to complete. If story is your priority, start with the level-3 titles. If the adult scenes are, the Spicy shelf opens with Premium.
