Scenes are scripted in advance, each with a setup, a turn and an ending, and watching one leaves your chat history with any character untouched. Steering the story is not possible, and that is exactly what separates a series from a chat. Badges carry the signals. New and New Episodes sit on the same cards, 15 series on October 16, and one tap on the New filter lists them. Above the grid, a featured carousel works like a shop window. It held ten series that day, ranging from My Step-Sister’s Dormitory to My Girlfriend’s Twin, mixing two creator series, a 27-episode military story and two Spicy titles. It reads as a curated pick, not a chart. The public pages showed no trending or top list, so our series hub does the scoring and sorting.

Is Candy Shorts all AI, and who is the cast?

Yes, AI runs Candy Shorts from beginning to end. Scenes, settings and faces are all generated, and the people on screen are invented adults, so the cast of a typical series reads Mona, David or Sgt. Diana Demont rather than a list of actress names. If you wanted to know whether it is real, no video here is a recording of a person.

A single shelf works by other rules. Candy Creators lists six names, from Riley Reid and Mia Malkova to Asa Akira, and each one lends a licensed digital twin to one or more series. None of them performed in the episodes built around her twin. The twin lends a name and a likeness, and generated scenes do everything else. What happens at the end of an episode?

This part caught us off guard. After an episode of Mona’s Worst Enemy ended, the player did not just stop. It offered a chat with Mona Newman, the lead of the story. The series acts as the trailer, and the chat is a sequel that talks back.

The offer is frequent but not universal. Across the 111 open series we checked on September 24, 2026, 92 closed on a chat offer with the lead character, and the other 19 invited you to build a character of your own, among them Sworn to the Queen. On that date a free account could send five messages at most, while Premium lists unlimited text messages, so a free viewer meets a different kind of paywall in the chat. Is there a Candy Shorts app?

The app Candy.ai offers is the site itself, saved to your home screen. On September 24, 2026, the plans page showed a Get App button with two short sets of steps: on an iPhone, tap Share and then Add to Home Screen, and on Android, open the browser menu and choose Add to Home Screen. The result is an icon that opens Candy.ai, and CandyShorts opens inside it like any other section.
