The last line repeats the first with a new ending: she is getting paid to end Brooke’s career, so Brooke had better fight back.

Episode 2: thirty days and a three-year deal

A three-count and a puzzle open episode 2. Brooke tells the opponent she had a job, asks why she let her win and meets a flat rejection of the idea: she did not let Brooke do anything. When asked how much she was paid, the opponent says, “Not enough.” A third voice then steps in, sounding like a promoter, with terms: a big card thirty days away, a three-year contract in the promoter’s hands and a warning that if the night goes wrong, neither woman works again. That starts the clock for whatever follows.

A sports story with a kiss coming

The title shows where the feud is heading, and the premise promises the turn: as Brooke fights her way back, the woman across the ring awakens desires she did not expect and cannot ignore.
