Episode 1: a fitting that runs long

Veronica welcomes him to her fitting room with an endearment. His thoughts are already racing: she looks even better today, he tells himself, and he admits that his fiancée believes he is somewhere else. Veronica asks if he is finished lying to his body, then tells him what to take off. He catches himself with a reminder that he marries in four days. From outside a voice calls, “Babe, are you here?” It is the fiancée. Veronica stays calm and says the door is locked, and the episode ends on her question: does he want to go further with his fiancée waiting right outside?

A calendar with a short fuse

The countdown does half of the work. Five days in episode 1 turns into four in episode 2. At heart the story is about one woman who has fitted many grooms and decides to keep this one.
