His girlfriend calls to say she will be there in five minutes, and he answers that he has to run and that this is a bad idea. Margot gets the last word: nine o’clock, her office, and he is free to leave.

Episode 2: working late on her time

He replies that he wants the job without losing his girlfriend, and she tells him to keep the job and leave the rest to her. Then the girlfriend calls her stepmom: “Is Jake behaving or is he already your favorite?” Margot replies that he is dedicated and that they are wrapping up. The girlfriend says they are already at the club and asks her stepmom to tell her man to finish. When the call is over, Margot tells him to quit playing boyfriend for an hour. What do we say, she asks. His answer ends the episode: “Yes, boss.” She reminds him that his girlfriend got him the job and that he must not lose it.
